Day 1
Meet & Greet at the International Airport with private land transfer to Tabacon Grand Spa & Resort. Double Standard Room.
Located at the base of the majestic Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica, the Tabacon Resort, Spa & Hot Springs offers 114 rooms of five-star luxury for you to enjoy. All the guest rooms feature private balconies or terraces overlooking the resort´s tropical gardens. Some also include an impressive view of the Volcano. The resort is famous for the thermal hot springs that are the main attraction with several different pools of increasing temperature for you.

Relax in the inviting ambience of our splendid and recently remodeled Orchid Rooms. Day 2: Breakfast. Pick up at the lobby of the hotel. Arenal Volcano Hiking Tour. Overnight at Tabacon Grand Spa & Resort. Double Standard Room.
Hike Arenal Volcano National Park with a guided tour from La Fortuna, and discover lava formations, lush forests and thriving wildlife. Watch for the monkeys and sloths that live within the park’s protected zone as you walk along the active, western edge of the volcano, then take a rainforest trail to Arenal’s most recent lava flow. Enjoy views of Arenal Lake and the rugged volcanic landscape, catch a glimpse of glowing fresh lava. Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast. Land/Boat transfer to Monteverde. Approx. 2.5 hrs. Overnight at Belmar Hotel. Nicoya Suite.

Perched atop the highest peak of our lush cloud forest property, our newly added Nicoya Suite offer both the luxury and seclusion you desire during your stay in Monteverde. It’s 100 sq mts feature a large bedroom with hardwood finishing’s, with a king size bed and lounge area, ample closet space, and double exposure floor to ceiling windows with views of the forest and the Nicoya Peninsula. This room also includes an ensuite, fully furnished living area with a private bar and writing desk; as well as a spa style bathroom with a forest view shower, a small indoor garden, an adjacent sitting area, and a double vanity. The Treetop Walkway hanging bridges, guides visitors both through and above the rainforest. A series of 8 suspension bridges, connected by trails totaling 1.9 miles (3 km) in length, provides a birds-eye view of the rainforest canopy. From these bridges – which vary from 150 ft (50 m) to 500 ft (170 m) in length and are suspended from heights ranging from 36 ft (12 m) to 180 ft (60 m) – visitors will easily be able to study this unique tropical ecosystem, catching glimpses of birds, monkeys, sloths and more as they make their way across.
Sky WalkThe butterfly garden at Selvatura Park is a beautiful entomological experience recommended for people of all ages and physical condition. To complement our visitor's experience at the butterfly garden, we commend to visit the amazing Bio-Art Insect Museum which hosts not only most of the butterflies found in Costa Rica but in the world as well as other insects from all over the planet. The exhibit is a must see for anyone visiting the Monteverde area!
The center features biologist Richard Whitten's world class educational exhibits "Jewels of the Rain Forest", one of the largest private insect exhibitions anywhere in the world with over 1,000,000 specimens! Dr. Whitten has combined natural history and art in a unique format which inspires visitors to appreciate these wondrous creatures from a holistic perspective, totally different from that usually encountered. Visitors will receive a guided tour to learn about arthropod biodiversity worldwide with special emphasis on the remarkable, fantastic, diminutive creatures of the Monteverde area and Costa Rica.
Sky Trek is a unique system of trails, suspension bridges and zip lines that allows visitors to observe the rainforest from a variety of different vantage points – from above, below and within the canopy itself.

Day 7: 2nd day at Aguila de Osa. Breakfast. Guided tour to Corcovado National Park or Cano Island. Lunch and Dinner. Overnight.
This rainforest excursion is an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dense primary rainforest adjacent to San Pedrillo, Corcovado National Park’s northernmost ranger station. From the hotel, you’ll take a 25-minute boat ride along the west coast of the Osa. After the wet landing at the station (our boats go in stern first and drop you a few feet from the beach), you’ll begin your rainforest journey. During the morning hike, your Greentique Certified guide will point out many of the diverse species along the trail You may see white-faced, spider and howler monkeys, white-lipped peccaries, scarlet macaws, coati, and countless other birds and insects. The trails are clearly marked and easy to navigate, ascending and descending through the primary rainforest. After the morning hike and a break for lunch, you will have the opportunity to hike to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way to the falls you will have another chance for your guide to point out more of the bio diverse flora and fauna. The waterfalls offer the perfect opportunity to relax, take a refreshing swim in the cool fresh water, and take some magnificent pictures of this beautiful area. After some time at the falls, you will return to the ranger station to catch the boat back to the hotel, and on the way, if you’re lucky, you may have the chance to see humpback whales or dolphins breaching and spinning in the ocean.
Day 8: 3rd day at Aguila de Osa: Breakfast. Guided tour to Corcovado National Park or Cano Island. Lunch and Dinner. Overnight.
Snorkel the clear waters of Caño Island Biological Reserve, an Eden of coral and rock formations, filled with schools of vibrant tropical fish. Our dive masters take snorkelers of all ages and experience levels aboard our 30-foot Island Hopper for some breathtaking adventures in these beautiful waters. Visibility is 30 – 100 feet or more year-round, and the reefs and rocks formations are teeming with exotic sea life. Caño Island is an underwater photographer’s dream and great for families.
Day 9: 4rd day at Aguila de Osa: Breakfast. Transfer by boat/land to airstrip. Flight to San Jose. Pick up at the airport. Transfer to hotel in San Jose. Overnight at Real InterContinental Hotel. Dbl Std room.
Day 10: Private land transfer to San Jose International Airport. Flight back home. End of services.
